2.此片為什么叫 The Counselor? 這是一個(gè)很難回答的問(wèn)題,我提出來(lái)希望有心者也可以思索。 男主角在片中,幾乎所有人叫他Counselor,律師代表公正,律師即可以為正義方辯護(hù),也可以為犯罪方謀求最好的解決方案,甚至扭曲事實(shí)或者鉆法律的空子。律師需要有聰明的頭腦,博學(xué)的支持,沉穩(wěn)、冷靜。從影片的細(xì)節(jié)上可以看到,這些特性主角都有。 主角 = 具有優(yōu)秀律師潛質(zhì)的優(yōu)秀的人 = 接近完美的鉆石 但他的下場(chǎng)很凄慘,為什么? 這是另一個(gè)問(wèn)題。 The Counselor這個(gè)名字起的相當(dāng)好,我們每個(gè)人都是自己的律師,辯護(hù)著自己的正反兩個(gè)面。但很多時(shí)候,出于各種原因,我們都不能把一件事做到能力范圍內(nèi)的最好,其中不少原因都來(lái)自于“貪念”。不一定是直接的貪圖金錢,有的時(shí)候貪圖享樂(lè)、貪圖多玩一會(huì)、貪圖多睡一會(huì)、貪圖和親愛(ài)的人多待一會(huì)。 我不想說(shuō)這些是對(duì)的,還是錯(cuò)的。因?yàn)閹缀鯖](méi)有絕對(duì)正確或錯(cuò)誤的事,只是一旦我們決定了,就走上了這條決定的分支。
3.開(kāi)篇時(shí),鉆石挑選的橋段告訴我們什么? 從鉆石沒(méi)有完美的,我們發(fā)現(xiàn)他的瑕疵,這是這個(gè)行業(yè)。<- 暗射人生 到“每個(gè)驅(qū)逐猶太人的國(guó)家都遭受同樣的命運(yùn)” there's no culture,save for the Semitic culture. The last known culture before that was the Greek, and there will be no culture after, nothing. 不用看具體意思,它映射到本片后來(lái)的意思是:律師也可以為了金錢做錯(cuò)事,承擔(dān)對(duì)應(yīng)的后果。映射到當(dāng)今社會(huì) 則說(shuō)的是當(dāng)今社會(huì)太拜金,信仰文化越來(lái)越少。 The heart of any culture is to be found in the nature of the hero. Who is that man who is revered? 這句話更有意思,作為美國(guó)大片,本片沒(méi)有英雄。從頭到尾都沒(méi)有! 這又寓意著什么? 至少告訴你,此片不同,他不求票房,至少核心不是。 它想讓觀者感悟一些什么。 “上帝被西方人偷竊了.... .... 你要如何才能偷走上帝?”--是金錢?欲望?這些支配我們選擇的因素? “人們總是窮 ... 手上總是滴著鮮血”。
看美律政劇的基本上都知道,在美國(guó)的法庭上,法官稱呼律師為“counselor”,在法律的語(yǔ)境中,應(yīng)該就是“l(fā)awer”的意思。在此片中,法鯊的正職是律師,影片的名稱好像就是給大家用他的正職點(diǎn)題。如果要細(xì)究的話,就要想想“counselor”的意思,其實(shí)全稱應(yīng)該是“counselor at law”,聯(lián)合“counsel” (其中意義就有建議,咨詢),這個(gè)職位其實(shí)是“在法律方面給出建議、提供咨詢的人”。再扯也遠(yuǎn)一點(diǎn),很多語(yǔ)境中,“counselor”是和“advisor”是一個(gè)意思。
但是在影片當(dāng)中,法鯊除去在監(jiān)獄當(dāng)中提供法律咨詢服務(wù),他一直都在尋找“advice”。我記得的就有三幕很簡(jiǎn)單粗暴地點(diǎn)題了: a. 與皮特在酒吧的一幕
法鯊: “Do you think the drug lords hired kidnappers to keep them supplied with young girls?” (提出問(wèn)題,尋求答案) 皮特: “I think they have kidnappers on full retainer.” 法鯊: “I should keep that in mind, too.” (認(rèn)為得到答案/獲得咨詢) 皮特: “I can’t advise you, counselor.” (拒絕對(duì)其解釋負(fù)責(zé))
b. 出事之后去找巴登
法鯊: “What do you think I should do?” (尋求求生的途徑) 巴登: “I don‘t know, counselor, I don't know.” (簡(jiǎn)單粗暴被拒絕回答)
c. 在車?yán)镫娫挼哪嵌?br> 法鯊: “Could I come to florida?” (尋求求生的最后一線希望,自己提出建議的選項(xiàng)) 電話那頭: “Florida is closed.” (選項(xiàng)被駁回) 法鯊: “I would do whatever you suggest” (這里已經(jīng)不提出具體問(wèn)題,而是直接告訴他,我需要你給我建議) 電話那頭: “I have no suggestions, counselor.” (最后得到建議的希望破滅)
在法鯊求婚得到肯定的回答,彼此祝酒時(shí), 法鯊對(duì)Laura說(shuō): “I intend to love you until I die.” Laura笑了一笑回答: “Me first.” 法鯊甜蜜卻又肯定地拒絕道: “Not on you life.” (這輩子都不可能)
這是一場(chǎng)扣字的游戲:“intend to” 表明了“我計(jì)劃,我想要”愛(ài)你一輩子直到我死。至于最后發(fā)生什么,也不是我說(shuō)了算。這是作為一個(gè)在販毒中想撈一筆的律師的現(xiàn)實(shí)考慮,也可以解釋為作為律師的職業(yè)病。(說(shuō)到這里不得不說(shuō)法鯊在片中作為律師的扣字行為,開(kāi)場(chǎng)戲扣Laura的“I want you to put your hand up my dress”; 然后求婚場(chǎng)景解釋“glory”; 改正中間人的“don't put me in the centre”; 改正最后救命稻草的“Hiatus”,都大難臨頭了還給別人拼寫。)無(wú)論如何,最后Laura比法鯊先死的結(jié)局,居然成為了法鯊最后能為L(zhǎng)aura做的事情。因?yàn)樗栏菀?,死亡并不是痛苦的終結(jié)?;钕聛?lái),承受死亡帶來(lái)的痛苦才是最大的折磨。
在出事后,法鯊和皮特見(jiàn)面。皮特問(wèn)他有沒(méi)有看過(guò)snuff film (就是真實(shí)的殺人現(xiàn)場(chǎng)制作的影片)。皮特告訴他 “you cannot watch without being accessory to a murder” (只要看了的人就都是謀殺的共犯)。最后法鯊在破舊的旅館里收到那張帶有“HOLA!”(你好?。┳謽拥腄VD,他一看到就立馬出現(xiàn)反胃的表情。你以為是什么?那就是一個(gè)snuff film,而主角就是他美麗的未婚妻。而這個(gè)時(shí)候,真正打開(kāi)看不看這個(gè)snuff film有什么本質(zhì)的關(guān)系嗎?沒(méi)有了。法鯊也是殺死Laura的共犯。這也被巴登命中,因?yàn)榘偷窃?jīng)告訴他如果你堅(jiān)持要在這條路上走下去,“you will eventually come to moral decisions that will take you completely by surprise”。在他和Laura命運(yùn)之輪無(wú)法更換的情況下,法鯊被道德選擇突擊。相對(duì)來(lái)說(shuō),這對(duì)Laura反而是一種變相的解脫。大嘴迪曾經(jīng)告訴Laura “you should be careful what you wish for, angel, you might not get it.”。Laura很堅(jiān)定地告訴大嘴迪她知道。然后,她承諾“wish?死在法鯊之前的那個(gè)世界最終成為了她現(xiàn)實(shí)結(jié)局的那個(gè)世界。
活在自己做出選擇的世界里面,面對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)。 This is my advice。

S. 五月剛才墨西哥回來(lái)。城市里面各種帶重械的警察隨處可見(jiàn)就不說(shuō)了。去之前,還有一個(gè)州因?yàn)槎緱n和居民自衛(wèi)隊(duì)內(nèi)戰(zhàn),也嚴(yán)格被我們排除在旅行安排之外。我們?cè)诒辈康臅r(shí)候,某天在去一個(gè)小縣城的路上,遇到軍隊(duì)盤查,仔細(xì)詢問(wèn)了我們的行程和一切細(xì)節(jié),大概持續(xù)了半個(gè)小時(shí)左右,因?yàn)橥鈬?guó)人運(yùn)毒非常常見(jiàn)(尤其是白種人)。每到一個(gè)城市就聽(tīng)說(shuō)這個(gè)城市前幾天有槍戰(zhàn),死了多少個(gè)cartel。當(dāng)?shù)厝藢?duì)于毒梟真是深惡痛絕,對(duì)于政府也是深感失望,但是每天除了小心注意安全,貌似也不能做任何事情。美國(guó)啊,墨西哥人民真是深受你的毒害。
The yet-to-be-realised masterpiece is a film not enslaved by its narrative and characters, and simply because the full-blown ego, short attention span and the lack of ability to listen and process difficult information, PEOPLE dismiss such a film citing "who cares".
Well that's the most damaging line I constantly hear travelling in this circle, the very question involves one's existence placed on a pedestal, so anything above such naysayer's vision is put to the axes, and there's no shortage of weaponries to toy with, bad raps grow to misinformation, ultimately the message diminish itself among such PEOPLE. But really who cares right?
I do, and I'm not alone. McCarthy is a man of wisdom, and usually such a figure practice preaching among others, it was heard plainly and concisely through the Jeweller's words that serve as the theme statement of the film. As if McCarthy knew of what was coming, therefore with almost child-like revenge, he made the film more difficult to follow.
Though our main protagonist and titled character, the counselor's story carries little to no weight in the development of events took place in the story. He does not even have a name in case you haven't realised, he has no places of business and no house realised in the story's universe. The counselor is purposefully crafted to be the witness, the visual realisation of the audience inside the story. The counselor is such a role that assesses the status quo, accepts reality - be it glory or defeat, makes judgement and not real decisions and often is the target for blame.
The counselor appears sophisticated and confident, much like the audience who have so grown to take this type of crime thriller for granted that they don't even try to follow the story. Only when it begins to be more challenging, they let themselves down rattling and dismissing. Lack of real enemy and no real approach to dodge his fate, the counselor embodies the audience and is utterly clueless.
The counselor symbolises our emotional anxiety and in this film, lost the frontline battle between good and evil, as a direct consequence of avarice. Whom to suffer but the innocent wife of religious purity.
McCarthy's first spec script is a bloody good time, the man's severe obsession to death has flourished from the randomness/madness expressed in No Country For Old Man to the masterfully cunning meaninglessness (the certainty of uncertainty demonstrated by all characters in this film).
When a snuff film was delivered at the end, our wildest imagination points us nowhere near the power behind the curtains, the audience is left to mistake the femme fatale of Malkina as some sort of intimidating realisation, when all she does is putting money into the next person's hand. The avarice is the initiation, but it doesn't have to be the conclusion. Cameron Diaz's final speech provides us with insights into her drive: everything is about sex, except sex itself which is about power struggle. "Cheetah kills the jackrabbits at 70 miles per hour with elegance" then Malkina moves on to order claiming she is "famished", when the power struggle is over, it's time to enjoy the reap.
The film ends on such a high note that would normally faint the hearts of any seriously-minded audience, but it didn't for it was swiftly equipped with only two clean slices of creative murdering and introverted conversations, which are either too gruesome or too demanding of repeats during playtime. Though I sense nobody is in this business for love, I'm glad somehow that pays off in this case.
Pointers: please do not waste your time trying to understand why Malkina left the counselor alive, the counselor wondered the street one night in Boise, and literally for once in his lifetime, stood in the position of someone disadvantaged and wronged, his urge to death and departure is much greater than living the status quo, that has to be realised. More importantly the counselor means nothing to Malkina, during their brief encounter at the party, Malkina barely said high but spanked the counselor a bit, the counselor has no value in attaining the money. Remember Cheetahs attack with precision and elegance, they do not stop off for a snack attack.

0. 要不是錯(cuò)過(guò)了Carrie才不會(huì)看這部
1. 男神女神聚起來(lái)飆戲看的還是很爽的
2. 有種為了重口味而重口味的感覺(jué) 性愛(ài)場(chǎng)景也是殺人戲碼也是 too much information!
作為麥卡錫第一次親自執(zhí)筆劇本的電影,這片子確實(shí)很怪,從開(kāi)頭到結(jié)尾,從人物塑造到臺(tái)詞(尤其最后大段大段的,好像變成了舞臺(tái)劇),甚至整個(gè)敘事手法(雖然我覺(jué)得無(wú)可厚非)。似乎全部角色都用血腥的結(jié)局來(lái)給法叔上了堂人生課。但不可否認(rèn)的是它一定會(huì)給你絕望而罪惡的感覺(jué)吧。
完全不知道電影想干什么,而且電影的剪輯可以說(shuō)是毫無(wú)技術(shù)可言,就是粗燥的把一組一組鏡頭貼在一起??戳舜蟀肷?,大致覺(jué)得可能是說(shuō)蛇蝎女人的奮斗史吧??粗鹘且粋€(gè)個(gè)得掛彩,覺(jué)得真是可惜了這卡司團(tuán)了。
“真相沒(méi)有溫度” 貪心破壞雙向道德的無(wú)用防線遁入間隔世界走向絕境后才后悔想起不完美的現(xiàn)實(shí)世界最好。不少哲學(xué)對(duì)白可以與《普羅米修斯》連上,諸多元素的幽默調(diào)侃中夾著冷爆的狠勁兒,斯科特+麥卡錫玩挺爽,我看得更爽!
很棒很黑很搞笑
一般編劇思路是如何絕處逢生至少拼個(gè)魚(yú)死網(wǎng)破,文豪麥卡錫的思路是:你死定了,利用難得的等死機(jī)會(huì)成為哲學(xué)家吧。沒(méi)新書(shū),來(lái)個(gè)群星朗誦的有聲書(shū)解解渴也挺好。性力全開(kāi)嚇?biāo)浪腥说呐蟻喥潱∏沸屈c(diǎn):真想隨便從老無(wú)所依里拉個(gè)人來(lái)?yè)Q掉布拉德皮特
NY 32. Ridley Scot的作品方差真是大,有意思??仿〉蟻喥澰谶@部電影中創(chuàng)造了可以載入影史的sex scene。皮特死的很重口,旁邊美國(guó)佬都各種Jesus Christ了,哈哈哈哈。但是你們這些大腕都不能把音發(fā)清楚嗎魂淡!?。?!
2013年度最失望電影非本片莫屬,它帶我們領(lǐng)略了頂級(jí)導(dǎo)演+頂級(jí)卡司所能造就的另一種可能。導(dǎo)演剪輯版or加長(zhǎng)版曾經(jīng)拯救過(guò)雷德利·斯科特的不少作品,可惜這部并不在其中。
大段大段無(wú)謂而做作的對(duì)話。這么好的卡司就這樣被浪費(fèi)了。
尼瑪,超強(qiáng)卡司的超級(jí)爛片
也不是完全一塌糊涂,老斯科特或許是裝逼過(guò)頭,這片子本來(lái)就是要么很好要么很差的料子。于是我為了堅(jiān)持看完所以專門開(kāi)了彈幕,但是上面的吐槽果然還是比正片精彩多了。

看佩內(nèi)洛普·克魯茲的開(kāi)場(chǎng)戲以為那就是性感了,結(jié)果看到后來(lái)卡梅隆·迪亞茨的那場(chǎng)戲才明白你要怎樣演才可以被收入影史排行榜。
就是一個(gè)豬一樣的隊(duì)友害死全隊(duì)的故事。全明星,盛名之下其實(shí)難副。開(kāi)頭的一段sex完全可以去之。最后Bradpitt的死法和摩托車手去頭法讓我惡心壞了。Diaz fuck car那段笑s,她真是兩胸平平武藝超群,兩腿細(xì)細(xì)身懷絕技。
4/10。RS顯然不懂法律題材,他之前那部[情人保鏢]也夠雷。至于麥卡錫就一裝逼俠,怎么說(shuō)呢,本片由一連串漫無(wú)邊際的對(duì)話構(gòu)成,對(duì)話中用力猛塞了大量隱喻(可以當(dāng)性交談大全了),卻難掩堪比紙薄的故事和人物深度。節(jié)奏無(wú)張力,敘事無(wú)目的,可憐了巴登和迪亞茨犧牲形像,他倆應(yīng)該跑錯(cuò)[美國(guó)騙局]劇組了。
真不敢相信這是RS拍出來(lái)的,大明星成堆的大爛片。劇情扯,剪輯爛,沒(méi)節(jié)奏,各種夸大sex(有必要嗎?),最無(wú)可忍受的是這部片子散發(fā)出的那種低俗。
只有皮特死的那會(huì)兒最能讓人打起精神,其它部分真是Boring my ASS!法叔全程帥暈!
應(yīng)該是雷德利大爺夢(mèng)游時(shí)候拍的片。
人生苦短,爛片苦長(zhǎng)。臺(tái)詞多不怕,有伍迪艾倫頂天呢;臺(tái)詞少不怕,有<都靈之馬>墊底呢;怕的是不說(shuō)人話,讓本不可能發(fā)生于某場(chǎng)景某人物的對(duì)白大段往出掉,愛(ài)談?wù)軐W(xué)聊人生的話嘮型人格平均無(wú)差分布在每一角色身上,機(jī)靈抖得像脫衣舞娘奶頭上的亮片,且跟敘事推進(jìn)全無(wú)關(guān)系,究竟是導(dǎo)演怎樣一種心理需求?
浪費(fèi)這么好的陣容。故事太要命了,一場(chǎng)接著一場(chǎng)的對(duì)話,而且對(duì)話又都這么無(wú)聊。
我男神每次油光水滑帥氣逼人就全是爛片,胡子拉碴顏面扭曲的時(shí)候都是好片。媽的,真是美貌與智慧不可兼得。
